Terms of Service

Welcome to Tablet. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Tablet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Description of Service

Tablet is a project management and task tracking platform designed for designers and developers. Our service includes:

  • Project Management: Create and manage projects with Kanban-style workflows, issue tracking, and feature management.
  • GitHub Integration: Bidirectional synchronization with GitHub repositories, including issues, labels, and comments.
  • Credentials Vault: Secure storage for sensitive files such as API keys, certificates, keystores, and environment variables with AES-256-GCM encryption.
  • WhatsApp Integration: Create tasks via WhatsApp messages with AI-powered analysis for project matching and duplicate detection.
  • Team Collaboration: Invite team members with role-based access control (Owner, Admin, Developer, Member, Viewer).

3. User Accounts

To use Tablet, you must create an account using OAuth authentication via Google or GitHub. By creating an account, you represent that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.
  • You will maintain only one account per person.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activities under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for unauthorized purposes.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store on Tablet, including projects, items, comments, and credentials. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store, process, and display your content to provide the service.
  • Analyze WhatsApp messages using AI (Google Gemini) to extract task details and match them to projects.
  • Synchronize your content with connected third-party services (e.g., GitHub) as directed by you.

You are solely responsible for the content you store and share through Tablet. Do not upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.

5. GitHub Integration

When you connect your GitHub account to Tablet:

  • We access only the repositories you explicitly connect to projects.
  • We synchronize issues, labels, and comments bidirectionally between Tablet and GitHub.
  • Changes made in Tablet may be reflected in GitHub, and vice versa.
  • We install webhooks on connected repositories to receive real-time updates.
  • You can disconnect your GitHub account or unlink repositories at any time.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary permissions to connect repositories and that syncing content complies with any applicable agreements with repository owners.

6. Credentials Vault

The Credentials Vault provides secure storage for sensitive files. Please note:

  • Encryption: All credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM with unique per-credential key derivation (PBKDF2 with 100,000 iterations).
  • Audit Logging: All access to credentials (view, download, update, delete) is logged with timestamps, IP addresses, and user agents.
  • File Limits: Maximum file size is 50MB. Files larger than 500KB are stored in secure cloud storage.
  • Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for what you store in the vault and for managing access to credentials shared with team members.

We are not liable for any damages resulting from unauthorized access to credentials due to compromised account security or improper access management.

7. Team Collaboration

Tablet supports team collaboration with the following terms:

  • Project owners control who can access their projects and at what permission level.
  • Team members can view and interact with shared content based on their assigned role.
  • Project invitations are sent via email and expire after 7 days.
  • Owners and admins can remove team members at any time.

8. WhatsApp Integration

When you enable WhatsApp integration:

  • You must verify your phone number via SMS OTP.
  • Messages you send to our WhatsApp number are processed by AI (Google Gemini) to extract task information.
  • Image attachments are analyzed to provide context for task creation.
  • Rate limiting applies: maximum 3 OTP requests per hour, 5 verification attempts before a 60-minute lockout.

By using this feature, you consent to the processing of your messages and attachments for task creation purposes.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Tablet to:

  • Store, share, or distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures or access unauthorized data.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without authorization.
  • Interfere with the service or impose unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or our service.

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion:

  • All your data, including projects, items, comments, and credentials, will be permanently deleted.
  • Data shared in team projects where you are not the owner may be retained by those projects.
  • This action is irreversible.

11. Disclaimers

TABLET IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • The results obtained from using the service will be accurate or reliable.
  • Any errors in the service will be corrected.

You use the service at your own risk. We recommend maintaining backups of important data.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUTURIXAI AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF TABLET.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending you an email. Your continued use of Tablet after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
